PURPOSE:To provide the title system where a draft operation is made while traversing the front roller with the maximum circumferential velocity among top rollers or two or more rollers containing said front roller in the roller axis direction, thus extending the working life of said top rollers. CONSTITUTION:The front top roller 1a with the maximum circumferential velocity among top rollers is traversed in the roller axis direction via a motor 48, a stop plate 49 and stop means 44. Such traverse rate as to be 2-8min./ reciprocation motion allows the nipped sliver to be put to draft action properly without causing draft unevenness or unnecessary twisting and avoids one-sided wear of the robber roller section 32 of the roller 1a, thus significantly extending the working life of said top rollers. |
