PURPOSE:To detect a data format error and a hardware fault without deteriorating the high data processing speed by deciding a hardware error of a processing part only when no data format error is detected and performing the hardware trouble processing. CONSTITUTION:A format error detecting means 31 detects the format error of the data read out of an external memory 1 by a control part 2. An error informing means 32 informs the part 2 that the means 31 detected the format error. A format checking means 21 reads the data again out of the memory 1 to check the data format when the error information is received from a processing part 3. A hardware error deciding means 22 decides a hardware error of the part 3 in case no format error is detected by the means 21. Thus it is not required to cause the system breakdown for each error information. |
