PURPOSE:To prevent any shift of the positions work carriers when they are in the detached positions while an internal gear is descending by advancing engaging pieces and holding the carriers thereby at fixed positions when the internal gear is descending. CONSTITUTION:Works 8 are held by work carriers 7 meshing with an internal gear 2 and a sun gear. Each hold mechanism 26 includes an engaging piece 27 with a toothed portion 28 equivalent to the tooth profile of the gear 2 and having the same curvature of the gear 2 at its tip portion. The engaging piece 27 is connected to a rod 30 of a cylinder 29 and is arranged to be movable forward and rearward toward the center of the gear 2. Positioning pins 32 are erected on the upper face of a holder 18 to make the toothed portion 28 each engaging piece in phase-coincidence with the gear 2 corresponding carrier 7 when the engaging pieces 27 are advanced to mesh with the corresponding carriers 7 respectively. |
