PURPOSE:To enhance mechanical strength of a freezing liquid and to make a stable structure with reference to insulation by a method wherein the circumference of an electric apparatus to be cooled by using a low-temperature coolant is covered with the freezing liquid to which a reinforcing solid insulator has been added. CONSTITUTION:Insulation is constituted in such a way that a strengthreinforcing solid insulator 10 such as, e.g., a reinforcing fiber is put in an insulating freezing liquid 6 such as, e.g., insulating oil or ice around a high-voltage winding and a lowvoltage winding 1, 2. This yields the same effect as an action which enhances mechanical strength, e.g., when a stone is put in cement. In addition, the mechanical strength of the frozen liquid 6 to which the reinforcing fiber 10 has been added is enhanced; a crack is hard to produce; accordingly, dielectric strength is improved; as a result, an electric apparatus can be made small- sized. |
