PURPOSE:To provide the title lot change procedure in which the spindle of a double twister where yarn processing for the previous lot has been ended serves as the reserve base for the yarn feed package for the new lot, and continuous operation is made without the need for stopping the winder operation, thus ensuring extra space to be provided. CONSTITUTION:Each time for respective unit 30 where yarn processing for the previous lot has been ended, feed yarn for new lot is supplied to the spindle 7a or 7b followed by waiting. At the point when said yarn processing has all been ended in the double twister 2, the setting conditions are switched into those for the new lot and feed yarn for the new lot waiting at each spindle is threaded to reopen winding operation. |
