PURPOSE:To change the porosity or the pore diameter with varied volume of particles by incorporating into pores particles varying in the volume due to effect of a specified component substance in a fluid to allow permeation thereof through the pores. CONSTITUTION:A resin powder employs a polypropylene with a particle diameter of 1,400-1,000mum and a water absorbing high polymer Sephadex G-15, corss- linked amilopectin. The polypropylene powder and Sephadex G-15 are mixed at a ratio of 9:1 by weight and after homogenized with a mixer, sintered in the nitrogen current at 170 deg.C for 40min. The sintered porous body has a porosity of 37%, a density 0.52g/cm<2> and an average pore diameter of 180mum while the permeation coefficient before the absorption of water is 1.5X10<-6>cm<2>. The water absorption is 0.16g/cm<2> when the fluid does not permeates completely (when the permeation coefficient is 0). |
