<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a food storage chamber having high preservation of food capable of making a low oxygen state suitable for food preservation in the chamber, by introducing a gas in the chamber into a solution of a metal compound to remove oxygen in the gas. CONSTITUTION:Foods are stored in an airtightly closable chamber 1, a door 2 is closed and the chamber 1 is hermetically closed. Then a gas in the chamber 1 is sent from a pipe 8 to a solution of a metal compound in a closed container 5 by a blower 3, bubbled and the solution 4 of a metal compound is cooled by a cooler 7, oxygen in the gas is incorporated in the solution 4 of a metal compound, the gas made into a low oxygen state is circulated and fed from the pipe 9 to the chamber 1. Then the blower is stopped, flow of the gas from the chamber 1 is suspended, a heater 6 is operated, oxygen incorporated in the solution 4 of a metal compound is released and the released oxygen is discharged through a three-way valve 10 from a pipe 13 to the outside of the system.</p> |
