<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a whiskey-like liquor from an inexpensive raw alcohol extremely readily and in a short time, by adding oak timber to an alcohol or an aqueous solution of alcohol. CONSTITUTION:Ethanol or an aqueous solution mainly containing ethanol such as low-class distilled spirits is incorporated with oak timber which is usually washed with water and dried, preferably white oak, preferably sap wood of white oak timber, allowed to stand at <=room temperature for several days and then the oak timer is removed.</p> |
