PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device without the need of a large enclosure by forming passages in a hollow die and making at least the inner side of the hollow die to be gas-permeable. CONSTITUTION:The passages 6, 7 are formed in the inner part of the hollow die 3 consisting of carbonic material, and at least the inner side of the hollow die 3 is made to be gas permeable. The hollow die 3 is revolved around the vertical axis and particles are continuously or noncontinuously added to the hollow die so as to form a layer on the inner peripheral wall and to form stagnation on the bottom part of the hollow die 3. And, the heat of a heating source 5 is added from the inside to the outside through the layer thickness of the particle layer 4. By this method, the thin part of layer is half melted and sintered and the other part is kept in such a state that particles exist as they are. The obtained quartz crucible is cooled and then taken out from the hollow die 3. |
