PURPOSE:To make a battery structure simple and lightweight as well as to aim at improvement in reliability to liquid leaktightness, by connecting a lead alloy end of the terminal part solidly molded in a plate housing chamber, to a plate group collector part, setting a non-lead metal end down to a battery terminal, and setting a contact distance between the terminal and the housing chamber longer than the width of a housing chamber interconnecting joint. CONSTITUTION:A terminal part inclusive of a connecting part, setting one end of a terminal down to a lead alloy and the other end to a non-lead metal respectively, is solidly molded with plate housing chambers 7 and 8 as one body. This lead alloy end 2 is connected to a collector part of a plate group, setting a non-lead metal end 1 down to a battery terminal. And, a contact distance between the terminal and these housing chambers 7 and 8 is made longer than the width of a joint between these gousing chambers 7 and 8. With this constitution, the battery is made to be simple and lightweight and simultaneously reliability in the terminal part is securable for liquid leaktightness. |
