PURPOSE:To easily calculate a remaining talking traffic by receiving a coin deposition signal sent at the deposition of a talking charge of a public telephone set or a deposition signal from a telephone card, discriminating the difference between both the signals and using the result as a veritication input data. CONSTITUTION:When a reply exists, a trunk inversion detection relay RV is operated to close a make contact rv and an REC unit 7 delivers a discrimination signal by a relay P to a verification concentration station 4 via a VA unit 3. In depositing a 100Yen coin, it is discriminated by the relay P and the deposition data is sent to the verification central station 4 at each deposition and totalized or the remaining traffic in each telephone set is calculated. In loading a telephone card, the relay P discriminates it similarly and the data of the card is sent and totalized by the verification central station 4.
