PURPOSE:To attain the recording/confirmation of a message and the automatic transmission by applying sequence control to a means recording/ reproducing/ sending a message in/from a memory circuit by means of a function selection switch. CONSTITUTION:In operating a recording switch 19, 1st and 2nd switches 22, 23 are operated to activate a serial/parallel conversion circuit 27, a speed conversion circuit 29 and a memory circuit 31. In inputting a required message by a handset 7 equipped in the digital telephone set, the message is recorded in a memory circuit 31 through a CODEC circuit 9 under the management of a signal control circuit 10. On the other hand, in case of the automatic message sending at incoming call, the incoming signal starts a 5th switch 26 automatically via 4th switch 25. Then the voice level at the reception side at automatic incoming call is compared and in case of the reception state at the specified level or below, the message is sent by controlling the signal control circuit 10.
