PURPOSE:To keep operation even if one unit of generators is out of order or a great capacity induction generator is started, by setting the load capacity of each single machine to be less than a rated capacity, and by parallel- operating the smaller capacity synchronous-generators of two or fewer units and a plurality of induction generator units. CONSTITUTION:The output of the smaller capacity synchronous generators SG1 (the case of one unit is shown in the figure) of two or one unit and the output of a plurality of induction generator units IG2-4 are connected in parallel with each other, and power is fed to loads L6-8. The output of each generator is set to be lower than rated output, and power-factor improving capacitors C11-C14 are connected to. Via a breaker 5, a non-utility generation system can be connected to a power system. When one generator unit at least is out of order or the great starting current of the induction generators is generated, in the non-utility generation system, then residual generator output is increased to be the rated output. As a result, stable power is fed to the loads, and contract demand is prevented from being excessively generated. |
