<p>PURPOSE:To improve antiwear property and corrosion proof by forming the inner wall of a master cylinder of ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A master cylinder used for a hydraulic brake system is constituted from a reservoir section 2 and a cylinder section 1 for generating liquid pressure. The cylinder section 1 is constituted from a piston 5 having primary and secondary cups 3, 4 disposed respectively on the front and rear ends, a return spring 6 for urging the piston 5 to the input push rod 15 side and a check valve 8 covering a liquid pressure outlet 7 and inserted in a cylinder 9. Then, the inner wall of cylinder 9 is formed of ceramics C and particularly the whole body of cylinder 9 is made of ceramics or a ceramics sleeve (liner) 10 is inserted in a metal body.</p> |
