PURPOSE:To obtain a polarizing plate which is excellent in not only proof against scratch and humidity, etc., and reflection efficiency but also the averageness of a reflecting direction by forming a reflector of an aluminum foil which possesses a matte rough surface. CONSTITUTION:As to the polarizing plate 1 provided with the reflector 2, the reflector formed of a laminate plate 2 consisting of the aluminum foil 3 and a plastic film 4 and the aluminum foil has an irregular reflecting surface obtained by working the aluminum foil to be the matte rough surface. Thus, the polarizing plate can be obtained, which is little deteriorated in a humidifying atmosphere and is excellent in the highness and maintenance of the reflection efficiency. Moreover, it has the high averageness of the reflecting direction and is excellent in the uniformity of brightness on the polarizing plate and in invisibility and reliability. |
