<p>PURPOSE:To input a various kinds of commands with a simple operation by fractionating a display content to virtual areas, and discriminating the meaning of an operation based on the classification of the operation and that of the virtual area indicated by a coordinate input device at the time of performing the operation. CONSTITUTION:Out of document data 2 read out from a document data base 1 and data 3 in the virtual area, the document data 2 is written on a frame memory 5 via a plot processing part 4. The content of the memory 5 is displayed on a CRT6. Meanwhile, the data 3 in the virtual area is sent to a command identification part 7. When a mouse 8 is operated by an operator, the coordinate value 9-a of an image and a mouse button event 9-b are sent to the identification part 7. Based on those data, the identification part 7 identifies the command corresponding to the operation of a user based on a virtual area- command correspondence table, and sends a result to a control part 10. The event corresponding to the command is executed at the control part 10.</p> |
