<p>PURPOSE:To elevate a percentage of removal of acidic components of waste gas generated from a dust incineration furnace by adding a neutralizing agent to the waste gas, separating reaction products of the neutralizing agent with the acidic components with an electric precipitator or a cyclone, and providing a neutralizing agent-supplying means to between bag filters at the down stream side of said dust collecting means. CONSTITUTION:Waste combustion gas generated in an incineration furnace 1 is cooled in a gas cooling tower 2, and air preheater 3, then conducted to an electric precipitator 4a, where dust is collected. Thereafter, a neutralizing agent such as Ca(OH)2, etc., is fed from a neutralizing agent-feeding pipe 5 and reacts with acidic components such as HCl, SO2, etc. Reaction products and unreacted neutralizing agent are collected in a bag filter 6. Purified gas is discharged from a stack 10. A cyclone may be used in place of the electric precipitator.</p> |
