PURPOSE:To easily obtain many D/A converters and to easily attain the driving of a liquid crystal panel with a digital video signal by constituting the titled circuit so that a saw-tooth wave voltage generated by one piece of saw-tooth wave voltage generation circuit is impressed to a sample/hold circuit. CONSTITUTION:To a MOS transistor 5, a saw-tooth wave voltage generated by the saw-tooth wave voltage generation circuit 4 is impressed. The circuit 4 is such one as provided with a low-pass filter consisting of a resistor R and a capacitor C. To a column signal electrode 7 and a holding capacitor 6, a voltage generated by the circuit 4 is impressed through the MOS transistor 5 which is turned on during the aperture time (t) shown by the saw-tooth wave voltage, and thus a voltage immediately prior to the time when the MOS transistor 5 turns off is held. Accordingly, the column electrode can be driven with a voltage corresponding to a video signal converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 1.
