PURPOSE:To enable a remaining quantity to be confirmed from the outside diameter of a roll through the easy confirmation of the end surface of the transfer film roll through a peeping window by coloring the end surface of the transfer film roll in a white color or a color containing a high white color degree. CONSTITUTION:A transfer film roll 1 is formed by winding in a cylindrical shape around a hollow cylinder core 3 a lengthy transfer film 2 made up with a film base immersed in or applied with ink or dye. And, the transfer film roll 1 whose cylindrical end surface 4 is colored in a white color or a color containing a high white color degree, is housed inside a recording device 5. Thereupon, the outside diameter of the transfer film roll 1 can be easily confirmed with human eyes through a peeping window 6 even if the inside of the device is dark, as light entering through the remaining quantity confirmation peeping window 6 reflects at the end surface 4 of the transfer film roll 1. Accordingly, even if the transfer film itself is in black color, the remaining quantity can easily be confirmed. |
