A rotor arm unit for an ignition distributor comprises a body 3 made from an insulating material having a seat at one end 3a to house one end of an actuating shaft 2, and at the other end 3b carrying a conducting strip 7 which projects radially with respect to the body 3 and acts as a rotor. The other end 3b of the body 3 has a cavity 5 separated from the seat by a single-piece wall and the body 3 has an appendage 3c adjacent to the edge of the cavity 5 extending radially outwards like an overhanging beam. The strip of the rotor 7 is fixed to the appendage 3c and has one end pointing towards the cavity 5. <IMAGE>
