The apparatus sets the cooking time and starts by one-touch key operation and changes cooking time as required in proceeding. Completing time setting, microprocessor (209) detects the door closing and drives the magnetron (3) except for the start key. The alteration of cooking time utilizes a program which accepts key operation as the setting time amendment signal in main control unit (209).
