Triaxial accelerometer with six degrees of freedom and using electromagnetical suspension. The invention relates to a triaxial accelerometer simultaneously measuring the three linear and angular accelerations along the three axes of a rectangular trihedron whose suspension from the moving part of the sensor is produced without mechanical connections with the body, by electromagnetic effect alone. The moving equipment, consisting of a three-dimensional cross with six branches of equal length is stabilised and referenced to the body of the sensor by six independent automatic control loops each composed of a separation detector, force motors with permanent magnets and conventional analogue automatic control electronics. Because of its designed robustness and the precision of the measurements - inertial quality - this accelerometer is in particular intended for inertial navigation with connected components, the stabilisation of any object moving in space and measuring angles of inclination of a body with respect to the local vertical. <IMAGE> |
