PURPOSE:To bring a recording magnetic field producing means up and down without using any special driving device by bringing up and down the recording magnetic field producing means by utilizing the going up and down of a chucking means when a disk is mounted and removed and press-contacted. CONSTITUTION:When a disk 2 is mounted on or removed from a turntable 21, a chucking arm 10 is brought up in the direction shown by the arrow (b) and a magnetic field coil 40 is lifted up to a lifted up position where the coil 40 is separated from the disk 2. In such state the disk 2 is placed on the disk pushing-up member 5 of a disk table 3 and pulled in as the table 3 moves in the direction shown by the arrow (a'). When the table 3 is completely pulled in, the member 5 is lowered and, at the same time, the arm 10 is lowered in the direction opposite to the arrow (b). As a result, the disk 2 is press-contacted with the turntable 21 by means of a chucking plate 13. When the arm 10 is lowered, the coil 40 is lowered to a lowered position where the coil 40 approaches the disk 2. At the time of removing the disk 2 operations are carried out in the opposite way. |
