PURPOSE: To bring ink into uniform contact with an inking roller even in case of a high circumferential speed by disposing a molding in an ink distribution chamber such that the attitude can be varied thereby forming an uniform ink flow having no turbulence. CONSTITUTION: A screen roller 1 defines an ink distribution chamber 6 in the longitudinal direction of a roller along with an ink rail 2 disposed in parallel with the rotational axis thereof, an upper doctor blade 3 and a lower doctor blade 4. A molding 16 is supported rotatably by side shields 23, 28 such that ink can flow freely round the molding through shaft pins 19, 21 fixed to the end faces 17, 18. The molding 16 has length substantially equal to the width (b) of the screen roller 1 when viewed in the axial direction and preferably has elliptical cross-section. The molding 16 can be turned through adjusters 31, 32 by an angleϕof±20 deg., for example, from the neutral position depending on the rotational direction of the screen roller 1 and the required force F of ink for the screen roller 1.
