The invention relates to a device for training in "sailboarding" (windsurfing). This device includes a plate 2 mounted rotationally on a base 1, it being possible for the rotation to be braked, the said plate being capable of pivoting about its longitudinal axis in order to simulate a roll movement, against resilient return means, it being possible for an assembly 4 for simulating the rigging to be fastened at a point on the plate, in a certain area, a so-called wind simulation assembly 4' consisting essentially of a halyard 20 connected, on the one hand, to the rigging and, on the other hand, to a counterweight 22 and means 3 with a general pivot function conferring on the so-called upper plate 2 a supplementary mobility about axes of roll 8 and of pitch 10 against resilient return means.
