The appts. for successively rotating a cylindrical structure is provided for a peripheral work such as a continuous welding on the periphery of a huge cylinder. The appts. includes a driving roller assembly and an idling roller assembly. The driving roller assembly comprises a pair of rollers (16,16'), a V.S. motor (2) with a worm- gear reducer (3), a bed (1) and a screw shaft (20) for adjusting the distance of the rollers. The idling roller assembly comprises a pair of rollers and a bed (22). The driving roller assembly and the idling roller assembly are disposed apart and may be adjusted in their construction distance according to the length of the cylindrical structure.
