The present invention relates to a flush-mountable electrical connection box intended to be installed, during the construction of premises, at the location of envisaged light points and embedded in the concrete. This box is characterised in that the central part of the insert 2 comprises a recess emerging in the external face of the insert and in which a metal socket 16 is housed for connecting up an electric light bulb, this socket 16 being electrically connected to two screw terminals 17, 18 carried by the back 19 of the recess receiving the socket 16, on the side opposite this socket, and in which terminals the ends of two power-supply conductors 15 are fixed, and these two terminals 17, 18 are also connected respectively via metal connection blade-terminals 19, to two sockets having vertical axes and consisting of female contacts of a power outlet in which a male plug 26 connected to the leads (electrical wires) of an electric appliance may be engaged. <IMAGE>
