<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce the measured transmission line itself by measuring and recording in advance the state of the transmission line and using the result so as to set the impulse response of a transmission line characteristic simulator. CONSTITUTION:A correlation function between a signal from a transmitter 210 for measuring transmission line characteristic and a signal from a reference signal generator 232 is preset to give an impulse string. Then the signal from the transmitter 210 for measuring transmission line characteristic and the signal from the reference signal generator 232 are given to a multiplier 231 to obtain an impulse response alpham (t) of the transmission line 220 obtained from the multiplier 231 and the result is recorded in a recorder 234. Then the impulse response alpham (t) reproduced from the recorder 224 is inputted to the m-th multiplier 15m0 of a transmission line characteristic simulator 100 as the m-th tap gain 15m1 to allow the simulator 1000 to simulate the transmission line 220.</p> |
