PURPOSE:To increase the conductivity and electrolyte retainability of a positive mix without its deterioration by using a conductive material mainly comprising oil furnace carbon black whose volatile matter is specified. CONSTITUTION:A conductive material mainly comprising oil furnace carbon black whose volatile matter based on JIS K6221 is 0.2% or less is used. The volatile matter in the oil furnace carbon black means a functional group having reducing property such as aldehyde group, carboxyl group, and hydrogen contained in the carbon black. If the volatile matter exceeds 0.2%, the functional group on the surface of oil furnace carbon black reduces a positive mix to deteriorate its performance. The conductivity and electrolyte retainability of the positive mix are increased without any deterioration in performance. |
