PURPOSE:To obtain the device which can remove fundamentally the vibration of a refrigerator to an infrared detector by floating the infrared detector by the repulsion of a superconductive magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:The superconducting focal plane 2 coupled thermally with the infrared detector 1 is made of a superconducting material and join temperature is made uniform to hold the detector 1 at constant temperature. A superconducting cold head 3 is cooled to cryogenic temperature by a cooling machine cold stage 7 made of a superconducting material coupled thermally. This baffle 6 is also cooled to cryogenic temperature by the stage 7. Therefore, when the detector 1 is in operation, the plane 2 floats over the head 3 by a repulsive magnetic field and stays at a stable position. In this state, cooling to below superconduction transition temperature is performed by a radiant heat exchange among the detector 1, the plane 2, the head 3, a nonmagnetic support member 4, and the baffle 6. Then a superconduction displacement detector 5 detects the displacement of the detector 1 and head 3 when they are displaced by the vibration of the stage 7, and then controls them to their reference positions. |
