<p>In a circular saw head 101 for sawing side boards 103 from a tree trunk 2, a circular saw cutter 108 is fixed to the saw axle 111 by means of a supporting flange 109. Inside the saw tooth rim 13 of the circular saw blade 108 and at a radial distance from the saw teeth 13 there is disposed a circular end-support surface 117, which extends in the axial direction past the end face 118 of the circular saw cutter 108 and lies level with the outer end edges 14 of the saw teeth 13. The support surface 117 supports the wood surface sawn by the saw teeth 13 and therefore controls the tree. <IMAGE></p> |
