At least one surface of said fibrous substrate is covered with a transparent resin layer. …<??>Due to ultrafine fibers differing in colouration, which effect may be supplemented by the presence of coloured high polymeric material within said fibrous substrate, and further due to the transparent coating layer which optionally may be coloured, a cubical effect and a grain pattern effect result, which are recognized as consisting of a mixture of ultrafine fibers each being quite different in colour from the next, though providing the appearance of a single colour from a distance, and producing a subdued and rich appearance as a result of the integration of colours by the colour of the coating layer.</p> |
