Process for transferring printed patterns to textile substrates

There is described a process for transferring any printed patterns to textile substrates by ironing on, which is characterised by the following steps in this order: a) applying a paper A, consisting of a siliconised base paper and a laminated-on rubber film, to any printed matter having a non-finished surface in such a way that the rubber film comes to rest on the printed matter, b) ironing the paper A onto the printed matter, c) introducing the printed matter with the ironed-on paper A into a warm soapy solution, d) peeling the paper A, onto whose rubber film the printing ink of the printed matter has transferred ("intermediate product"), off the printed matter, which is consequently now only a white paper in this area, e) drying the intermediate product, f) applying a paper B, which corresponds to the paper A and which likewise consists of a siliconised base paper and a laminated-on rubber film, to the intermediate product in such a way that the rubber film comes to rest on the intermediate product, g) ironing the paper B onto the intermediate product, h) peeling the base paper of the paper B off the still hot intermediate product, i) ironing the intermediate product with the ironed-on rubber film of the paper B onto the textile substrate, j) peeling the base paper of paper A off the textile substrate.
