Above a drum used for cheese mfr. is the motor driving the central shaft with a transverse beam rotating about the lower shaft end. A shaft descending from the transverse beam is attached by spring-loaded supports to a strip with multiple projecting brushes, which during rotation of beam scour cheese residues from the adjacent upright wall. A cranked extension of the strip carries brushes engaging the transition betweenthat wall and a domed floor. From the other end of beam projects an inclined shaft impelled in plantary fashion from main drive gearing. This shaft carries a bar with brushes for cleaning the domed floor, but which in converse fashion to the first strip has a cranked upward extension. ADVANTAGE - While main surfaces of side-wall and floor are effectively cleaned. The double action applied to the transition area ensures this high-risk area is fully covered, without excessive abrasion.
