PURPOSE:To obtain a thoroughly blended assorted feed by a special one-step gapping operation. CONSTITUTION:A damper 3 at the lower part of each assorting chamber 2 in an assorting mechanism A is ensured to be able to extremely quickly gap. A mixing plate 4 is equipped at the lower part of the damper 3. At the lower part of a hopper 5, a chain conveyor 6 is provided having three receiving ports, capable of drawing out in three tiers. In such equipment, the damper 3 is opened so that the front of the fallen article in the next chamber 2 is positioned at the intermediate position of the fallen article first gapped from the chamber 2 of such chambers 2 into which articles have already introduced. In this way, successively gapped articles 10, 20, 30 impinge on the mixing plate 4 located thereunder to effect blending followed by delivery to the hopper 5, where the resulting blend is mounted in three tiers on the chain conveyor 6 thereunder, and said three tiers are blended at the gap. |
