In a holographic display apparatus for an automotive vehicle having an instrument board 12, a hologram plate 13, and a hologram reproducing light source 16 in order to display a solid hologram image in superimposed relationship to instrument board images, in particular a flat mirror 20 is additionally disposed within a hood 14 of the instrument board to apparently increase a distance between the light source and the hologram plate or to reproduce a clear hologram image, without increasing or changing the dimensions or sizes of the instrument board.
