PURPOSE:To harvest bud vegetables with a high lithium content, by sprinkling an aqueous solution of potassium in a specific concentration in seeding cruciferous plants and irrigating the plants from germinating to harvesting. CONSTITUTION:Seeds 1 are sown in a seeding bed 5 for cultivation and an aqueous solution of 0.10-0.20wt.% potassium concentration is sprayed from a spraying pipe 6 so that the respective seeds may be mostly exposed. After germination, water is irrigated from the spraying pipe 6 on a culture medium till harvesting as bud vegetables. The potassium in a large amount is accumulated in hypocotyls and leaves with a content of about 600-700mg and 760mg thereof at the maximum based on 100g edible parts. |
