PURPOSE:To equalize the wear-out of electrodes, and to lengthen their lives by installing fixed disconnecting sections of the positive and negative sides to two DC circuit breaker chamber stacked vertically in an enclosed switchboard and replacing upper and lower DC circuit breakers with each other for a fixed time and operating the DC circuit breakers. CONSTITUTION:A enclosed switchboard 1 is divided into upper and lower two stages and upper and lower circuit breaker chambers 2A, 2B are provided. Upper and lower circuit breakers 5A, 5B are housed in the chambers 2A, 2B respectively. Negative and positive fixed disconnecting sections 3A, 3B are mounted on the upper side and the lower side respectively in the upper circuit breaker chamber 2A. Positive and negative fixed disconnecting sections 3A, 3A are mounted on the upper side and the lower side respectively in contrast with the upper stage in the lower-stage circuit breaker chamber 2B. When the title switchboard is operated for a specified time, the connection of the circuit breakers 5A, 5B and the fixed disconnecting sections 3A, 3B is broken by upper-stage movable electrodes 6A, 6B and lower-stage movable electrodes 7A, 7B, and the upper and lower circuit breakers 5A, 5B are removed from the switchboard 1, and replaced with each other. Accordingly, the wear-out of the electrodes is equalized, and the life of the circuit breakers is lengthened. |
