NEW MATERIAL:A compound exhibiting X-ray diffraction peaks at 7.6 deg., 10.5 deg., 12.5 deg., 15.6 deg., 16.4 deg., 17.7 deg., 26.3 deg., 28.9 deg., 30.5 deg. and 32.0 deg. in terms of Bragg angle (2theta+ or -0.2 deg.), wherein the peak at the Bragg angle of 7.6 deg. is the strongest). USE:A photo-semiconductor material useful as a photosensitive material for electrophotography. It has excellent exposure sensitivity characteristics and wavelength characteristics. PREPARATION:A titanium phthalocyanine compound is treated with a solvent consisting of ketones, esters and/or halogenated hydrocarbons. |
