Method for the phase-locked transmission of a voice-frequency modulation signal from a central signal source via feeder connections to a plurality of spatially distributed base stations of a common-frequency radio system, in which method phase rotations of the modulation signal in the feeder connection are compensated, characterized in that - an auxiliary carrier (AC) located outside the voice-frequency band (VB) of the modulation signal is generated ; - the auxiliary carrier (AC) is mixed with the modulation signal ; - the lover sideband (LSB) resulting from the mixing, together with a residual auxiliary carrier (RAC), is transmitted to the base stations (B, B1, ..., B3) ; and - the original modulation signal is recovered at the base stations (B, B1, ..., B3) from the lower sideband (LSB) by mixing with the aid of the residual auxiliary carrier (RAC) transmitted. |
