PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the feeding of hot pressurized medium and the sealing means in a steam dome style by a method in which a mold height- regulating device is provided outside of the dome, and the sealing means of hot pressurized medium is provided on the connecting end edges of the upper and lower both domes and on the fitting periphery of the lower dome and the lower mold. CONSTITUTION:An upper mold-fitting body 6 is fixed to the upper dome of a twin type press, and a lower mold-fitting body 4 is fixed to a lower dome 2. A dome-locking ring 3 is fitted so as to engage with and disengaging from the connecting end edges 1c, 2c to be connected upon the closing of both domes 1, 2. The mold height-regulating device by a turnable regulating nut 8 or a sprocket 9, etc., controls their positions correspondingly to the mold height, and is provided outside of the dome space formed by the upper and lower domes 1, 2. Consequently, hot pressurized medium-sealing packings 11, 15 intervene easily in between next parts and are set there. That is to say, said packings are provided between each connecting 1c, 2c of the upper and lower domes 1, 2 and between corresponding inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the lower dome 2 and the lower mold-fitting body 4. |
