This invention relates to a multi-disc player capable of storing a plurality of discs and sequentially selecting arbitrary discs for continued reproduction. An elevation rack disposed at one of the ends of a loading base for supplying discs selectively from a magazine to a disc reproduction unit is driven vertically by one elevation cam disposed on the main body side of the mechanism to drive a horizontal support structure consisting of an elevation lever and an auxiliary elevation lever that are disposed on the side part of the loading base, so that the loading base can be driven vertically as a whole while keeping its horizontal state. The elevation speed can be improved and the elevation mechanism can be simplified by reducing the weight of the loading base as a whole.
