The sliding door which travels on rollers in contact with a rail (33) below, gives protection against explosion and radiation, and is filled with concrete (6). The door is enclosed by a metal casing (4,10) leaving the concrete exposed on one side (7). The door can be built up of sections placed edge to edge. Embedded in the concrete is a metal reinforcing mesh (18), and reinforcing bars (17) project inwards at the open side from an edge frame (10). The other side is closed by a sheet (4) attached to the frame, and with channels (16) inside, embedded in the concrete. A pair of rollers at the bottom, travel on the rail, and guiding rollers (26) with vertical axes are on top, rotating inside a recess (25) at the top of the door. ADVANTAGE - The metal casing is relatively light and rigid, and the concrete prevents reflection of radar waves.
