PURPOSE:To obtain a highly dense oxide superconductive coil by filling a superconductive particle into the threaded surface of a frame of cylindrical insulation, by cutting the frame body from the particle side, and by performing heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconductive particle 2 is filled into the outside of a threaded frame 1 and the outside is sealed by an elastic seal member 3 such as silicon rubber. Then, it is loaded into a high water pressure cylinder and a pressure of 300-1500kg/cm<2> is given. Then, the superconductive particle with a frame whose elastic seal member 3 has been removed is calcined at 900-100 deg.C for 4-12 hours and then is gradually cooled. Then, the high-pressure compressed and calcined oxide superconductive particle 2 is cut to the surface which includes one part of flight of the frame 1. This procedure allows a highly compressed oxide superconductive coil to be obtained within a thread groove. Since this coil is formed so that it is embedded within the frame body the strength of coil is remarkably increased. |
