PURPOSE:To make a uniform volumetric efficiency by a method wherein an intake control is performed while an intake condition is monitored for each of the cylinders. CONSTITUTION:In operation of an engine, an intake condition for each of the cylinders is detected by cylinder inner pressure sensors 5a-5d. In a control circuit 8, a difference between a cylinder having the highest volumetric efficiency and other cylinders is calculated in reference to the sensed signal. Control valves 7a-7d are opened or closed respectively under a desired duty ratio in response to the calculated difference. The more the difference is, the higher the rate of opening time of the control valve becomes, then much volume of air is supplied from auxiliary air passages 6a-6d under the suctioning operation of the main body 1 of the engine. |
