The temperature measuring device in the dessert spoon has been developed for daily eating use. The dessert spoon with the temperature measuring device is held in the food shortly before eating in order to establish whether the food has a temperature suitable for eating. By means of a thermometer incorporated in the shaft of the dessert spoon, the temperature is measured and displayed on the upper side of the spoon shaft. The temperature measuring device can also be incorporated in a fork, teaspoon or children's cutlery.
