A catching shackle (16) is attached from the side onto each of the rearward-pointing upward-pivotable holding arms (10), with a bolt (24) welded to a ground-side U-rail piece (18) passing through a corresponding bore in the holding arm (10). Welded onto the U-rail piece (18) is the actual catching part of the catching shackle (16) which, from the side, has a U-shaped form, with a vertical front leg (28) and with a rearward-angled rear leg (30) which increases the catching region. The two-part coupling device serves for coupling front forks, equipped with transverse bolts, of reaping units and fertilizer spreaders from the driver's seat of a tractor in a simple way. <IMAGE>
