In the eccentric inner surface (8) of the support ring (5) fixed to the stator, and the outer surface, centered on the pump axis, of the rotor (15), a crescent-shaped working chamber (18) is formed which is subdivided by radially displaceable pump vanes (17) into four pump chambers (181-184) which are successively connected to inlet E and outlet A and thus deliver flow media from E to A. In order to improve the anti-friction characteristics of the pump vanes (17) there is provided, at least at the guide surfaces for the pump vanes (17) at the rotor (15), a copper-lead-tin alloy having a tin content of from 0.5% to 11.0%. The pump vanes have a copper-tin alloy having a tin content of from 5.5% to 9.0%. Thus advantageous anti-friction characteristics are maintained on a long-term basis even under unfavourable operating conditions, and thus run-up after standstill and centrifugal extension is facilitated. <IMAGE>
