PURPOSE:To efficiently perform combustion in a furnace, by providing a sealing device between a furnace cart and the wall of a main combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A slanted metal fitting 5 is fixed to both sides of the longitudinal direction of a furnace cart 4. A Finelex 8 is filled into the grooves of the wall inside of a furnace confronting the position of the end 9 on the side of a burner by the intermediary of a spring 6 and a belt iron 7, and the Finelex 8 is pressed by the metal fitting 5 in such a state that the furnace cart 4 is set in a main combustion chamber 1. In such a manner, insulation from heat is kept sufficiently in the under-side of the furnace cart 4 by providing a sealing device between the furnace cart 4 and the wall of a main combustion chamber. Said construction effectively acts on the combustion to an object in the main combustion chamber 1. |
