PURPOSE:To obtain the title lubricating oil, containing a specific amount of a specified fatty acid (ester or metallic salt) and capable of imparting a high dimensional accuracy in forming and working Al, working at a high working ratio and facilitating working of hardly workable materials. CONSTITUTION:The aimed lubricating oil, containing 1-50wt.% one or more of >=12C fatty acid (e.g., oleic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, linolenic acid, palmitic acid, myristic acid or lauric acid) and esters thereof (e.g., butyl ester)m and metallic salts (e.g., zinc salt) and having 10-500cSt viscosity at 40 deg.C. |
